IPL Betting Row: Cops summon Arbaaz Khan

Mumbai : Bollywood actor Arbaaz Khan has been summoned by the cops over his alleged involvement in IPL betting case, said a TV report.

Amid unconfirmed reports, it has been learned that the actor allegedly placed bets with top bookies.

Summon by the Thane Police came after a top bookie Sonu Jalan was arrested. The cops are also trying to find out if he had fixed any game with any cricketer.

The actor has been asked to record his statement in Thane Police cell. On May 16, the anti-extortion cell raided a building in Dombivali, which was found out to be the epicenter of IPL betting racket. Three people were allegedly arrested and two more arrests were made in the following days.

Jalan is believed to have an association with Dawood Ibrahim's D-C company.
