Rajiv Shukla appointed as IPL governing council chairman

New Delhi : Rajiv Shukla was on Monday reappointed as chairman of the IPL governing council

He was earlier IPL chairman till 2013

He had resigned from the post after spot fixing scandal

Sourav Ganguly, Ajay Shirke and Ranjib Biswal were among the most desirable candidates for the post

Former captain Anil Kumble has been retained as the chairman of technical committee

Jyotiraditya Scindia will be heading the finance committee

Indian Premier League will start from April 8, 2015.
