With his impeccable skills and talent at commentating and hosting, Roshan Ramesh Shetty turns heads and how

New Delhi : He is an International Sports Commentator and Presenter who today is a rising name in the industry.

It is so astounding to notice the many new developments that have taken place across industries of the world. What is even more impressive is how most of these developments have been brought up by the immense hard work and massive efforts youngsters have put in to push forward the growth of their respective industries. Many of such young talented beings have also been making positive changes and developments through their work in the creative and sporting world in the form of athletes or commentators and other professionals. We couldn't help but notice how Roshan Ramesh Shetty did the same in the world of commentary and hosting in the sports niche.

Roshan Shetty, who is in his late 20s, has risen above many others as an International Sports Commentator and Presenter who debuted in 2019 on Star Sports Network. Within just three years of his existence in the industry, he has proved why he deserves the constant appreciation he has been receiving. The Pune-born and brought up talent studied in Sardar Dastur Hormazdiar High School and was born to Adv. Ramesh Shetty and Social Worker Devaki Shetty. He took up Science as a stream studying at Nowrosjee Wadia College and moved to pursue a Master's in Media & Communication Studies from Pune University in 2016. Later, he did an MBA in Sports Marketing from Symbiosis International University.  

Interestingly, Roshan Shetty was a former athlete as well, who represented the Pune Division in Athletics, Football and Fencing and decided to opt-out from Science and take up Sports Broadcasting and Management. During high school, his inclination toward sports commentary began, and he would emulate professors and actors. To stay for a longer time on the ground, he would pick up the mic and begin analyzing the games. This was the start of a new beginning for him.

His breakthrough happened as a Professional commentator in 2016 with the Reliance Foundation Youth Sports. He also got awarded the "Sports Excellence" Award by the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Ajit Pawar, for his progress as a Sports Broadcasting Professional in 2019.

Besides commentating and presenting several well-known leagues, championships and games so far in his career, Roshan Shetty (@roshan_shetty7) also founded Sportytude, a sports management company based in Pune.
