New Delhi : Making Army Marksmanship Unit (AMU) proud again, 28-year-old Subedar Gurpreet Singh qualified for 2016 Rio Olympics to keep India shining in coming days.

Highlights:

• Gurpreet Singh has qualified for 2016 Rio Olympics

• He is the second shooter from AMU and fifth shooter from the country to have secured the Rio Olympics quota berth

• He shoots for 10m air pistol

• Prior to him Naib Subedar Jitu Rai from AMU had qualified for the game

• Gagan Narang, Apurvi Chandela and Abhinav Bindra are others who are among five Indians to qualify for it.
