Shooting World Cup: Shooter Jitu Rai wins Bronze; India stands at sixth spot on medals tally

New Delhi : Indian shooter Jitu Rai on Tuesday made India proud with a Bronze medal in 10 meter air pistol event of the ISSF World Cup.
Jitu Rai's final score was 216.7 points, while gold medallist Tomoyuki Matsuda of Japan claimed 240.1 points and silver medallist Xuan Vinh Hoang of Vietnam stood at 236.6 points.

Rai had won the mixed team event gold on Monday in a demonstration event alongside Heena Sidhu in the same category.
So far India stands at the fifth position on tally with one silver and two bronze medals. China is on top of the charts while Australia in on the second spot with two gold medals.
