Delhi : Asus India has added new gaming laptops to the Strix and Zephyrus lines, expanding its Republic of Gamers (ROG) product line. The Taiwan-based company has introduced the Zephyrus M16 and Zephyrus Duo 16 machines in addition to the ROG Strix Scar 16, 17, and 18 laptops. These new laptop models, according to Asus, are "packed with power, performance, and style." The latest 13th generation Intel core CPU powers the Strix Scar 16/18 and Zephyrus M16 models, while the AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX processor powers the Strix Scar 17 and Zephyrus Duo 16. According to the manufacturer, these gaming devices are made to provide "top-of-the-line gaming and content creation experiences."

During CES 2023, these laptops were introduced to the world. The newest versions of Asus laptops are about to be released for the Indian market.

Laptops from Asus ROG Strix and Zephyrus: Pricing and Availability

Starting prices for the Zephyrus Duo 16 and Zephyrus M16, respectively, are Rs. 4,29,990 and Rs. 2,99,990. The Strix Scar 16, 17, and 18 will, however, start at a starting price of Rs 2,79,990, Rs 2,69,990, and Rs 2,79,990, respectively, and will be sold through both online and traditional retail channels.

ROG Strix Scar 16 and 18: Important information

Asus ROG Strix Scar 17

Up to an AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX Mobile processor, up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 Laptop GPU with MUX Switch, and quick DDR5 Memory power the new Strix Scar 17. An Adaptive Sync-enabled QHD 240Hz display can be driven by a 150W+25W max TGP GPU, which is optimised for high framerates in contemporary games.

Zephyrus M16

With a QHD resolution display, the new Zephyrus M16 also supports a 240Hz refresh rate, 3ms latency, G-Sync, and Adaptive Sync. The M16's ROG Nebula Display HDR display also supports up to 1100 nits of peak brightness, Pantone Validation, Dolby Vision, and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage.

It is powered by a 13th generation Intel Core i9-13900H processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 GPU. Users will be able to switch between GPUs to maximise performance or battery life without having to restart their laptops thanks to the updated MUX switch with Advanced Optimus. Due to the M16 receiving two SO-DIMM slots this year, it now supports the latest DDR5-4800 RAM, which can be increased up to 64GB.

A new Full-HD webcam with 3DNR noise reduction, Infrared technology, and support for Windows Hello is also included into the top bezel. This year, the M16 will also be offered with Anime Matrix, a first for a 16-inch laptop.

Zephyrus Duo 16

The dual-screen 2023 Zephyrus Duo 16 features a rectangular shape. The newest AMD Ryzen 7000 series Dragon Range processors, which are based on AMD's new ZEN 4 architecture and TSMC's 5nm CPU manufacturing technology, are included in the device.

The ROG Intelligent Cooling Ecosystem and a 90Whr battery are also included with the Duo 16. It can be charged via the 330W adapter that comes with it, a regular DC plug, or either of the two 100W PD charge-capable Type-C ports. In just 30 minutes, the battery can receive up to 50% of its full charge.
