London : The much-awaited Nokia 3310 has been relaunched at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, featuring a colour screen at $52.

According to a report in Independent on Sunday, the new Nokia 3310's 1,200mAh battery is good for a staggering 22 hours of talk time and has up to a month's standby time.

According to HMD Global , which owns the rights to the Nokia brand, the device also comes with the modern version of the classic game Snake pre-installed.

"That's ten times better than the original, which typically lasted for a little more than two hours of talk-time. In stand-by mode, the battery will keep running for up to 31 days between charges, which is three times as good as what the original handset offered," the company was quoted as saying.

The battery of the new device is removable, like its older version. However, the 2017 model is rechargeable through a microUSB port.

The new Nokia 3310 will retail at an average global retail price $52, and will be available to purchase during the second quarter of this year.

"The device will power through up to 51 hours of MP3 playback too, as well as up to 39 hours of FM radio playback," the report noted.
