Xiaomi Redmi 5A smartphone

Chinese handset maker Xiaomi has launched the budget Redmi series smartphone Redmi 5A for Rs 4,999 in India. Xiaomi Redmi 5A is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset and houses a 3,000mAh battery.Redmi 5A sports a 5-inch fully-laminated HD display.

There is a dedicated MicroSD card slot that can expand the memory up to 128GB along with comes with two SIM card slots that support simultaneous use 4G network. 

In terms of camera specifications, the device houses a 13MP primary camera with an aperture of f/2.2, Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) and flash and 5MP selfie camera. It runs the Android 7.1 Nougat operating system (OS).

The device also comes with an Infrared (IR) blaster. IR blaster is a device that emulates an infrared remote control to autonomously control a device that is normally controlled only by remote control key presses.

The smartphone will start retailing on Flipkart,, and Mi Home stores starting December 7 in dark grey, gold and rose gold colours.

Indian smartphone maker Intex has launched the Aqua Power IV at Rs 5,499 with 4,000mAh battery and runs on the Android Nougat OS.Intex Aqua Power IV comes with a 5-inch FWVGA display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM.

In terms of specifications, the smartphone has a 5MP (AF) rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera with flash apart and 16GB internal memory that can be further expanded up to 128GB. Aqua Power IV will retail in Gold and Black colour variants.

Intex Aqua Lions T1 Lite smartphone

Domestic smartphone maker Intex has launched an affordable 5-inch smartphone Aqua Lions T1 Lite with 2.5D curved glass, runs the Android 7 Nougat OS. for Rs 4,449. The 1GB handset houses 1.3GHz, Quad-Core 64-bit MediaTek Chipset and an in-built 8GB ROM with an expandable memory of up to 64GB. 

The device has a 5MP rear and a 2MP selfie camera with flash. The 4G dual-SIM smartphone claims to give a talk-time of up to six hours and a standby time of 8-10 days.

Karbonn K9 Music 4G smartphone

Domestic handset maker Karbonn Mobiles has launched K9 Music 4G with 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 16GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB. for Rs 4,990 in the country.

The smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system (OS) and is fuelled by a 2,200mAh battery. The device sports a 5-inch display, an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera. The Connectivity options in Karbonn K9 Music 4G is include, Bluetooth, GPS and FM radio.

Sansui Horizon 2 smartphone

Japanese smartphone maker Sansui has launched Horizon 2 smartphone with Infrared (IR) Blaster feature for controlling appliances at Rs 4,999. The device supports USB On-The-Go (OTG) for pen drives and other USB-powered accessories.

The smartphone is powered by 1.25 GHz Quad Core processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. It runs on Android 7.0 operating system. The device also features MiraVision that enhances the picture quality for the display and comes with a panic button functionality.

iVOOMi Me5 smartphone 

Chinese electronic major iVOOMi has launched new affordable smartphones Me 5 series with 5-inch HD-IPS display along with 2.5D curve glass in India at Rs 4,499, respectively.the device run Android 7.0 Nougat 

iVOOMi Me 5 smartphone features 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory (expandable up to 128GB) and sports 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front camera.

Micromax Bharat 5 smartphone

Domestic smartphone maker Micromax has launched Bharat 5 smartphone with 5,000mAh battery for Rs 5,555. In camera specifications, 5MP front and rear cameras with flash, delivers a run time of up to two days and has a standby time of up to three weeks.

The device, available at offline retail stores in India, has 5.2-inch HD IPS display, Android Nougat operating system, 1.3 GHz Quadcore processor, 1GB RAM and 16GB onboard memory that can be expanded up to 64GB.
