New Delhi : Amid coronavirus lockdown, the smartphone makers have cancelled their launch events for the upcoming devices. With a 21-day lockdown imposed in the nation, brands like Realme, Xiaomi and Vivo have announced that they will not be launching any upcoming smartphones.

In India, the launch of smartphones like the Narzo 10 series, Mi 10 and Vivo V19 were expected over the next few days, but have now been cancelled. 

The production operation of smartphones in the country has also been suspended to support the government's decision to combat the coronavirus. Realme, Xiaomi and Vivo are expected to announce new launch dates for the Narzo 10 series, Mi 10 and Vivo V19 after the 21-day lockdown ends. 

Vivo V19

Vivo was supposed to launch the smartphone in India on March 26th, but the it has been cancelled. The company has also suspended the announcement of any new product till the lockdown period. There is no tentative date for the Vivo V19 India launch yet, but we’re hoping to see it as soon as the situation normalises. The mid-range smartphone was rumoured to launch in India with a starting price of Rs 26,990.

Realme Narzo 10, Narzo 10A specifications

Realme also called off the launch event of Realme Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A in India that was supposed to take place on March 26th. Realme Narzo is a brand new series from the company that is rumoured to slot in between the Realme C series and Realme 6 series. The two phones in the lineup are teased to come with powerful performance at affordable prices.

Mi 10 series

Xiaomi was scheduled to launch the Mi 10 in India on March 31, but the company has already called off the event due to coronavirus lockdown that will remain till April 14. The handset, which is expected to be the company’s first flagship to go official in India in a long time, will now be launched on a “revised date” that is yet to be finalised.
