Delhi : It has been announced that iQoo 12 and iQoo 12 Pro would debut in China the following month. The new iQoo smartphones will be available in the Vivo sub-brand's native nation on Wednesday, October 25, as revealed on Weibo. Qualcomm's most recent Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC will power the gaming-focused iQoo 12 and iQoo 12 Pro. In India, the iQoo 12 will be the first smartphone to use Qualcomm's latest SoC. The Android 14 operating system and 144Hz refresh rate screens are anticipated for the iQoo 12 series. It is anticipated that they will include a triple rear camera set.

On November 7, the iQoo 12 and iQoo 12 Pro will be on sale. The firm has published a teaser poster on Weibo, which is in Chinese, indicating that the launch event would take place in China at 7pm local time (4:30pm IST). It is verified that Qualcomm's most recent Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC powers the iQoo 12 series. It would be the first phone designed primarily for gaming to use the new SoC. This week's Snapdragon Summit saw the unveiling of the top smartphone processor. It is the first smartphone platform to focus on generative AI and is the replacement for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The CPU features a prime core with a 3.3GHz maximum clock speed, dual Bluetooth compatibility, and Wi-Fi 7.

Through an X post, CEO of iQoo India Nipun Marya hinted to the iQoo 12 5G's impending release in the nation. He verified that the phone will include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU, making it the first in India.

For better gaming visuals, the iQoo 12 range is anticipated to have a dedicated display processor with hardware-accelerated ray tracing. Games like PUBG Mobile, PUBG New State, Genshin Impact, and LoL Mobile are probably going to operate at 144 frames per second on the forthcoming phones.

The iQoo 12 and iQoo 12 Pro are expected to come with up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, based on prior leaks. They could come pre-installed with Android 14 and include Samsung E7 AMOLED screens that can refresh at up to 144 Hz and have a 2K resolution. The iQoo 12 series is expected to feature three rear cameras: a 64-megapixel OV64B telephoto sensor with 3x zoom and optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and an OmniVision OV50H sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS).

It is said that the standard iQoo 12 has a dual-cell 4,880mAh battery that supports 120W rapid charging. On the other hand, the iQoo 12 Pro could come with a bigger 4,980mAh battery that supports both 50W wireless charging and 120W cable fast charging.
