Delhi : For those who have an affinity for technology and enjoy reading about cellphones, January 2024 appears to be a great month. Leading smartphone companies, such as Xiaomi and OnePlus, are ringing in the new year with intentions to introduce some high-end goods for buyers at various price points. Xiaomi is launching the Redmi Note 13 series, which is reasonably priced. On the other hand, flagship smartphones like the OnePlus 12 are expected to significantly impact India's growing smartphone market.

Vivo is also getting ready to debut its premium X100 series in India in "early January," while tech behemoth Samsung is widely predicted to join the fray with its much-awaited Galaxy S23 lineup a little later in the month.

And that's merely the very beginning. We will be closely monitoring the Consumer Electronics Show, or CES, in January for all the biggest announcements, as it offers endless opportunities for tech enthusiasts. Then there are the surprises, the things that haven't been revealed yet, and we'll update you when we learn more about those as well.

To get you started, these are the most eagerly awaited smartphones that will be released in January 2024:

OnePlus has stated that the phone would arrive on January 23, 2024, worldwide, including India. A 6.82-inch 2K or 1440p LTPO AMOLED display with a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, a 5,400mAh battery with 50W wireless charging and 100W fast wired charging, and a 50MP wide+48MP ultrawide+64MP telephoto arrangement are among the top specifications.

OnePlus 12R: During the company's December 5 event, there was no sign of the OnePlus 12R, which was supposed to launch alongside the OnePlus 12 under the Ace name exclusive to China. OnePlus has now officially announced that the 12R will go on sale on January 23, 2024, the same day as the OnePlus 12, including in India. The OnePlus 12R marks the first global release of the OnePlus R-series, which has up, until now only been available in India. We're waiting for more specifications and design information.

Samsung Galaxy S24 series: At Samsung Unpacked in San Francisco, California on January 17, 2024, the Galaxy S23 series, which is the flagship model, the Galaxy S24 Ultra, is anticipated to make its debut. More specific information is still anticipated, but it is known that they will receive Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Samsung's new Galaxy AI smart features, which are built on the company's in-house Gauss model.

Vivo will introduce the X100 Pro and X100 in India in "early January," according to FE Tech Bytes, however the precise date is still pending as of this writing. The new MediaTek Dimensity 9300 CPU powers both phones.
