Delhi : On January 4, the Redmi Note 13 series is scheduled to launch in the Indian market. Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G are likely to be among the versions available; however, the business has not disclosed the exact number of models that will be released in the nation. September saw the debut of both variants in China in addition to the standard Redmi Note 13. They have 16-megapixel front cameras and 6.67-inch 1.5K full-HD+ AMOLED panels. The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC, whilst the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor.

Xiaomi's low-cost sub-brand has started using social media accounts and a special landing page on its website to tease the launch of the new Redmi Note series in India. As previously stated, January 4 is confirmed to be the launch date for the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G. Here is everything we currently know about the series.

Specifications for the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G

Similar features and designs may be available in the Indian versions of the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G series as in the Chinese models. They look to have small bezels on the sides and a hole-punch cutout in the middle of the display to accommodate the selfie shooter, based on the teasers.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC, whilst the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G variant is reported to come with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. Their construction will be IP68 certified to withstand water and dust.

Like the Chinese variants, the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G are expected to run MIUI 14, an Android 13-based operating system, and have 6.67-inch 1.5K full-HD+ AMOLED screens with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3 main rear sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) is the focal point of the triple back camera set included in the Chinese versions of the device.

At the front of them is a 16-megapixel sensor. The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G sports a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging capabilities, whilst the 5,100mAh battery powering the Pro variant can handle 67W fast charging.

Price of Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G will be announced

Redmi has not officially disclosed any information on the Redmi Note 13 series' price, however we do know some information thanks to recent leaks. It is anticipated that the Redmi Note 13 Pro will cost EUR 450, or around Rs. 40,700, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ would cost EUR 500, or approximately Rs. 45,000. The Pro's 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model is reportedly priced at Rs. 32,999 in India.

The Redmi Note 13 and Redmi Note 13 Pro have different starting prices in China: CNY 1,199 (about Rs. 13,900) and CNY 1,499 (about Rs. 17,400), respectively. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ can be purchased for CNY 1,999, which is around Rs. 22,800. The pricing of the Indian versions should be comparable.
