List of smartphones to be launched in October 2020
New Delhi : In September, we saw a number of new smartphones getting launched as the restriction on lockdown were eased and October 2020 seems to be lined up with even more smartphone launches. Brands like Realme, Poco, Vivo, Samsung, Motorola and even Google are scheduled to launch new smartphones in the market this month.
The October-month launches are a mix of budget-friendly smartphones to luxury foldable smartphones like Moto Razr 5G.
Shortly after launching the Poco X3, Poco will now launch its new C3 smartphone on October 6. Realme will be launching a bunch of new devices including the Realme 7i smartphone.
Samsung is also debuting a new Galaxy F smartphone series with the Galaxy F41 as the first phone. Google is finally bringing the Pixel 4a in India on October 17. Vivo has also teased its V20 series but the launch date hasn't been confirmed yet.
Here is a quick look at the smartphones scheduled to be launched this month.
Moto Razr 5G
Moto Razr 5G, Motorola’s second foldable smartphone, will be launched with a 5G supported network technology. The device will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Moto Razr 5G also has a 48-megapixel rear camera, and a 20-megapixel selfie camera. The price of smartphone is likely to be around Rs 1 lakh.
Poco C3
Poco C3 has been aimed for buyers who want a smartphone in budget. Based on the phone’s teaser, Poco C3 will feature a triple camera setup with a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a depth sensor and a macro sensor. Poco C3 is expected to be a rebranded version of the Redmi C3 and the teasers indicate the same.
Realme 7i
Realme has already launched Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro in the Indian market and it is likely that the brand will launch Realme 7i after making its debut in Indonesia. Realme 7i comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It also has four rear cameras featuring a 64-megapixel primary sensor.
Samsung Galaxy F41
Samsung Galaxy F41 will be the company’s new phone in the mid-range segment. The smartphone is confirmed to sport a triple camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, and a 6,000mAh battery. It will also feature an sAMOLED Infinity-U display. Galaxy F41 will be available during Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale.
Vivo V20 series
Vivo V20 is likely to be launched in India on October 12, and there could be two new phones. However, the official release date is likely to be announced. Vivo V20 series has three phones including the V20, V20 Pro and V20 SE. The smartphone series offers a 44-megapixel selfie camera, triple rear cameras, and 33W fast charging support.
Google Pixel 4a
Google Pixel 4a will be launched in India from the new lineup. Pixel 4a comes with a 5.8-inch FHD+ OLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. It has a 12.2-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel wide-angle front camera. The price of the Pixel 4a is yet to be announced.
