Micromax Informatics on Friday launched "Bharat 5" smartphone for Rs 5,555. The smartphone will only be available to buy via offline retailers in the country.  

1. The Micromax Bharat 5, available at offline retail stores in India, has 5.2-inch HD IPS display.

2. Micromax Bharat 5 runs on Android Nougat operating system, 1.3 GHz Quadcore processor.

3. Micromax Bharat 5 with 1GB RAM and 16GB onboard memory that can be expanded up to 64GB.

4. Micromax has also partnered with Vodafone to provide its Bharat 5 consumers with 50GB of free data. 

5. The Micromax Bharat 5 that packs a 5,000mAh battery.

6. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro-USB.

Xiaomi Redmi 5A 'Desh ka Smartphone' features:

1. The new Rs 5,999 Redmi 5A (2GB RAM variant) from Xiaomi will cost users only Rs 3,999 with a Reliance Jio plan on Thursday.

2. The Xiaomi Redmi 5A smartphone comes in a 2GB RAM/16GB ROM internal storage version that will retail at Rs 4,999.

3. Xiaomi Redmi 5A is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset and houses a 3,000mAh battery.

4. Redmi 5A sports a 5-inch fully-laminated HD display.

5. There is a dedicated MicroSD card slot that can expand the memory up to 128GB along with two SIM card slots that support simultaneous use 4G network. 

6. Xiaomi Redmi 5A runs the Android 7.1 Nougat operating system (OS).
