Delhi : On Thursday, Motorola introduced the Motorola Edge 40 Neo, a mid-range smartphone in India with a MediaTek CPU and 144Hz refresh rate. It is a slimmer variation of the Motorola Edge 40, which was introduced in May of this year. The 6.55-inch pOLED display on the Motorola Edge 40 Neo supports 10-bit billion colors and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The maximum display brightness is 1,300 nits.

A 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 7030 processor, up to 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage power the Edge 40 Neo. The phone comes pre-installed with Android 13 and promises two OS upgrades and three years of security updates. Motorola employed a 5,000mAh battery in the Edge 40 Neo, which is powered by a 68W charger that comes with the device.

The back of the Edge 40 Neo features a 13MP ultrawide lens and a 50MP primary sensor. It sports a 32MP front-facing camera. According to Motorola, the Edge 40 Neo has received IP68 certification for underwater protection for up to 30 minutes in fresh water 1.5 meters deep.

Black Beauty, Soothing Sea, and Caneel Bay are additional colors on the Motorola Edge 40 Neo that have received Pantone validation. The 8GB/128GB model is available for a starting price of 23,999. Costing $25,999 is the 12GB/256GB variant.

The special launch prices from Motorola are ₹20,999 and ₹22,999, respectively. Starting on September 28, it will be accessible through Motorola, Flipkart, and other renowned retail locations, including Reliance Digital.
