Nokia G42 5G's enhanced variant: 8GB RAM model Launch in India for 16,999 INR

Delhi : India has finally seen the arrival of the Nokia G42 5G. There is just one version of the smartphone—16GB + 256GB—and three color choices: So Grey, So Purple, and So Pink. The cost of the smartphone is Rs 16,999. "This device aims to deliver an exceptional 5G experience, generous storage capacity, and a strong commitment to eco-conscious design," the manufacturer stated in a press statement. 

On October 18, the newest smartphone from Nokia will only be sold in physical stores and on Nokia.com. Additionally, there are now some thrilling limited launch specials available. According to the business, consumers who buy the Nokia G42 5G at certain retail locations will receive free Bluetooth headphones valued at Rs 999 for a brief time.

The Nokia G42 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 480 Plus 5G CPU. With a generous 256GB of storage and 16GB of RAM (8GB Physical and 8GB Virtual), the Nokida G42 5G offers customers plenty of room. 

Out of the box, the gadget runs Android 13, and Nokia guarantees an OS upgrade every two years. The 5,000mAh battery that powers the Nokia G42 5G is said by the firm to provide three days of battery life and 800 complete charging cycles.

Its three cameras are a 50MP primary, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth auxiliary. The smartphone sports an 8MP front camera for taking selfies.

The 6.56-inch HD+ 90Hz Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen of the Nokia G42 5G is protected by a 2-piece unibody design with a rear cover composed of 65% recyclable plastic.

In India, HMD Global has also introduced the Nokia C32 (12GB+128GB) model. The Nokia C32 can now be purchased for Rs 10,499 through physical shops, Nokia.com, and online partners. Three memory variants for the Nokia C32 are now available: 12GB + 128GB, 7GB + 128GB, and 7GB + 64GB.
