Nokia launches two new phones – Nokia 3.1 Plus and Nokia 8110 4G

New Delhi : Nokia on Thursday launched two new phones – Nokia 3.1 Plus and Nokia 8110 4G – at an event in New Delhi. 

Nokia 3.1 Plus is a smartphone that falls in line with their Android One smartphone line-up which comes with Android One. The second device - Nokia 8110 4G Reloaded, also known as banana phone, is a part of Nokia's original series.

Nokia 3.1 Plus launch has been set for the global customers, while the other device was specifically targeted towards the Indian buyers.

Nokia 8110 4G reloaded will be made available in the stores from October 24 at a price tag of Rs 5,999. The company is yet to announce the launch date of Nokia 3.1 Plus.

Specifications of Nokia 3.1 Plus and Nokia 8110 4G

According to reports, the company is targeting the device in market for a price tag of Rs 10,000. Nokia 3.1 Plus comes with an Aluminium panel with 2.5D curve. The device will be available in three colours - Blue, White and Baltic. It is a dual sim phone with a dedicated micro SD slot.

Powered by MediaTek's P22 chipset that comes with eight cores, Nokia 3.1 Plus sports a dual lens setup with one 13MP PDAF sensor and another 5MP depth sensor. The front sensor is an 8MP selfie lens with AI features.

A part of Nokia's original series, the Nokia 8110 was launched earlier this year but has been revamped for India. The device operates on KaiOS and comes with its trademark banana shape.

The device is powered by Qualcomm 205. The phone will also be able to access important apps like Google Maps, Google Assistant, Facebook etc. So far, there's no assurance about WhatsApp's availability on the phone. The device will also be able to provide Wifi hotspot, when needed.
