New Delhi : Nothing Phone 1 has been scheduled to launch in India on July 12, it has created a much needed hype already in the market with its tall promises and ex OnePlus co-founder, Carl Pei, name.

A lot of promises have been made by Nothing for its first smartphone Phone 1. It is expected that the company will offer its smartphone for a price tag of Rs 31,000 to 37,000, depending upon the variant of the smartphone. The official price is yet to be announced by the company.

The handset will reportedly come in three variants – 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. It will also be launched in the global market.

In India, the smartphone can be pre-ordered online for Rs 2000, which can be used to buy the smartphone without needing an invite code for it. To make the smartphone more pocket friendly, the customers using HDFC Bank card will get an additional discount of up to Rs 2,000.

Considering the price and specification of Nothing Phone 1, it will compete with OnePlus 10R, Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G, iQOO 9 SE, Realme GT Neo 3 and Vivo V23 Pro 5G.

It will be interesting to see how the brand will strategize to create a niche in the market that has such huge competition.
