Delhi : OnePlus 2023 phone seems to be in order, at least in terms of number series. The company recently unveiled the upper mid-range OnePlus 11R and OnePlus 11 power user-focused smartphones. On paper, the OnePlus 11R and the previously released OnePlus 10T smartphone may look very similar, but if you look closer, you'll see that the 11R has undergone subtle changes on the part of the manufacturer. Both phones are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and are similar in terms of both price and features. Which one then should you buy? Let's take a closer look at what the two upper mid-range smartphones, the OnePlus 10T and OnePlus 11R, have to offer.

OnePlus 10T vs. OnePlus 11R availability and price in India

Three memory configurations are available for the OnePlus 10T: 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and the priciest 16GB RAM and 256GB model. The base variant's price ranges from Rs 49,999 to Rs 55,999.

The OnePlus 11R, on the other hand, is offered in two variations. As of the time this post was written, the base model cost Rs 39,999 and had 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. Its higher-end model, which has 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, will set you back Rs 44,999.

Amazon sells both the OnePlus 10T and OnePlus 11R. Additionally, the company's own stores as well as other multi-chain retail locations like Reliance Digital and Croma will offer them offline.

Display of OnePlus 10T vs. OnePlus 11R

The display on the two phones is what separates them. The 6.7-inch E4 10-bit AMOLED screen on the OnePlus 10T has a Full HD+ resolution. This panel, dubbed a "Fluid Display" by OnePlus, has the ability to dynamically switch between 60, 90, and 120Hz refresh rates. Additionally, this panel has HDR10+ certification and can output HDR content on programmes like YouTube that support it.

The 6.74-inch P3 10-bit curved AMOLED panel on the OnePlus 11R, in contrast, has a 1.5K resolution and can dynamically switch between 40, 60, 90, and 120Hz refresh rates. Although the curved panel gives the phone a more upscale look and feel, it also has some disadvantages, such as the potential for accidental touches.

Specifications, features, and designs of the OnePlus 10T and OnePlus 11R

Both phones use almost the same design language and have a modern appearance. In terms of design, the OnePlus 10T borrows ideas from its older sibling, the OnePlus 10 Pro. Currently, the phone has a flat front panel, a curved back, and an island for the rear camera. Given the differences between the two phones, it is obvious that OnePlus made the decision to cut costs by using an all-plastic design, which they defend by pointing to the phone's 360-degree antenna. The venerable Alert Slider, which alternates between Ring, Silent, and Vibrate, has also been removed in favour of a bigger battery. The phone has an in-display fingerprint scanner but neither wireless charging nor a headphone jack.

On the other hand, the OnePlus 11R, which debuted at the same time as the OnePlus 11, also draws inspiration from its elder sibling. Two of the 11R's biggest updates are a curved OLED on the front and a curved glass on the back. OnePlus continues to make concessions in order to maintain the device's low price. In addition to adding an IR blaster and bringing back the iconic Alert Slider, this meant that the handset's frame would be constructed of plastic. It still lacks wireless charging, unlike the 10T, in addition to having no headphone jack.

Camera of OnePlus 10T vs. OnePlus 11R

The OnePlus 10T has a triple camera setup on the back. The company has previously used this exact same camera configuration on its other mid-range options. With an f/18 aperture, OIS, and EIS capabilities, the 50MP Sony IMX766 serves as the primary sensor. It is supported by an 8MP ultrawide angle lens and a 2MP macro sensor with a dual-LED flash. Selfies are taken with the phone's 16MP camera.

On the other hand, the OnePlus 11R also has a similar camera setup. A 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with OIS and EIS, an 8MP ultrawide angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor with a dual-LED flash make up the phone's back camera system. It's unfortunate that the 16MP selfie camera in this case hasn't changed at all. The renowned Hasselblad colour science and filter modes, which are available on the more expensive OnePlus handsets, are absent from both phones.

Storage, RAM, and the Processor

The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, Qualcomm's most well-liked flagship processor, powers the OnePlus 10T and 11R. This new chip promises to increase overall efficiency by 30% while outperforming the chip from the previous generation in terms of thermal performance. There are three different memory configurations available for the OnePlus 10T, the least expensive of which is 16GB RAM and 256GB storage, which includes 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS3.1 storage.

In contrast, the OnePlus 11R offers two RAM variants and memory options, including the top-end 16GB RAM and 256GB storage model and the 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB UFS3.1 storage models.

Battery capability of OnePlus 10T vs. OnePlus 11R

There is the option to purchase the OnePlus 10T with an 80W fast charger in addition to the device's large 4,800mAh battery, which supports 150W fast charging. In contrast, the OnePlus 11R has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 100W SUPERVOOC quick charging.
