OnePlus 5T Star Wars edition to be launched exclusively in India
New Delhi : OnePlus announced a special Star Wars edition OnePlus 5T at Bangalore Comic Con event. The smartphone will be launched exclusively in and for India.
The company, however, did not disclose any launch date but it is expected that the phone will arrive in accordance to the release date of Star Wars: The Last Jedi movie.
The film is scheduled to release in the second week of December. OnePlus released a teaser of phone during the event to create a hype about the device that certainly looks very different from the tradition red and black versions available in the market.
The special edition of the OnePlus 5T has a white finish, along with the Star Wars logo and the OnePlus branding beneath the fingerprint scanner.
On the front, it looks quite similar to the already available version but with a phone’s slider button.
A report by TechPP claimed that OnePlus 5T Star Wars Special edition smartphone will be exclusive to India. The report further said the device will be announced on December 16 in India at an event in Mumbai.
It has been learned that only 15000 units will be made of the special edition device.
OnePlus 5T was launched in India on June 2017; it has been priced in India at Rs 32,999 for the base 6GB RAM variant, while the top-end 8GB RAM model costs Rs 37,999.
