OnePlus open event: India launch date unveiled - It's happening on October 19
Delhi : The company's first foldable phone, the OnePlus Open, will launch in India on October 19 during an event in Mumbai, according to OnePlus. This follows several leaks and rumors. According to the official, "Open" stands for both the new foldable form factor and OnePlus's openness to new opportunities and potential.
OnePlus stated that it accepts all possibilities and keeps looking into new prospects with shifting smartphone form factors and an open attitude through the use of the phrase "Open for Everything."
The creator of OnePlus has previously stated that the OnePlus foldable will be 37% smaller than the Find N2 and have 31 less components, making it lighter. He also mentioned that the OnePlus Open and the OPPO Find N3 would have a similar design.
Previous rumors indicate that the phone would cost USD 1,699 (about Rs. 1,41,405), which puts it somewhat less expensive than the Galaxy Z Fold5. When it officially launches next week, we ought to know the price in India.
Open Pre-reserve Pass for OnePlus
For Rs. 5000, OnePlus is offering a pre-reserve pass that gives customers the opportunity to receive a unique invitation to the OnePlus Open Global Launch Event and purchase the phone there before anybody else.
When customers buy OnePlus Open at the event location, on oneplus.in, or through the OnePlus Store app once pre-orders open, they also receive a free pair of OnePlus Buds Pro 2.
The buyer will get a refund to their account within 30 days of October 27th, provided that the Pre-Reserve Pass is not redeemed offline at the Launch Event, after the Launch Event, on oneplus.in, or through the OnePlus Store app.
