OnePlus Z to arrive in India on July 10
New Delhi : OnePlus has confirmed that they are working on a mid-range smartphone which will be called OnePlus Z. There are reports which suggest that it may also be renamed as OnePlus 8 Lite and claimed that it will be brought to Indian market on July 10.
Since India is the biggest market for OnePlus, so it makes complete sense to unveil the device in the Indian market first. There were leaked reports which had claimed that the smartphone will be launched in the mid July and now an official has been quoted in a media report who confirmed that the launch date is July 10.
Considering the current situation of coronavirus pandemic in India, it is possible that the launch date may get changed.
Numerous leaks over the last few weeks have given us a detailed look at the specs of the OnePlus Z. The phone is slated to feature a 6.55-inch 90Hz AMOLED display, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage for the base model, and a 48MP camera at the back along with a 16MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro module.
According to one of the media reports, the OnePlus Z will be launched in the Indian market at a price as low as Rs 24,990 ($330). That's ₹17,000 ($224) less than the base version of the OnePlus 8.
