Delhi : The new Oppo A2 Pro smartphone has now gone on sale in China, the company's native market. The brand-new product from the firm is a mid-range phone with some noteworthy specifications and features. The specifics are provided below.

Design & Display for the Oppo A2 Pro

The Chinese tech giant's A2 Pro smartphone, while being a mid-range device, has a leather back cover on one model. A hybrid material is used in the more reasonably priced variant. The picture sensors and LED flash are located on a sizable camera island on the rear. The standard model weighs 183 grams and has a thickness of 7.99mm. The leather version, meanwhile, has a thickness of 8.04mm and weighs 185 grams. Notably, the apparatus has a specific anti-fall construction for longer durability.

The 64MP camera has a six element lens, autofocus, and is capable of recording in up to 4K at 30 frames per second.

The smartphone has an 8-megapixel front camera for taking selfies and making video calls. Additional noteworthy features include virtual RAM extension up to 12GB, IP54 dust and water resistance, an under-display fingerprint reader, Bluetooth 5.2, WiFi 6, and ColorOS 13.1 out of the box, which is based on Android 13.

Cost and Availability

Numerous color possibilities for the Oppo A2 Pro, including Twilight (Pink), Vast Black, and Desert Brown (Leather), were unveiled. The 8GB + 256GB model starts at 1,799 Yuan (about $250 USD), while the 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB variants are priced at 1,999 Yuan (approximately 275 USD) and 2,399 Yuan (approximately 330 USD), respectively. Pre-orders for the smartphone are now being accepted, with initial sales beginning on September 22 in China.
