Popular Nokia smartphones get cheaper on Republic Day

New Delhi : Nokia's prominent smartphones Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 have registered a price cut on the Republic Day, HMD confirmed the news to NDTV's Gadget 360.

The devices will now be available to the customers with a discounted price of up to Rs. 3,500.

In October last year, the company has launched Nokia 6.2 at a price tag of Rs 15,999. Later, in September, Nokia 7.2 was launched with a price tag of Rs 18,599. Both the smartphone devices were backed by Google's Android One programme with an aim to provide a near-stock Android experience with speedy updates.

With the latest revision in the prices of the smartphones, Nokia 6.2 will now be available at a price tag of Rs 12499 and the Nokia 7.2 will be priced at Rs. 15,499 for the 4GB + 64GB storage variant. Similarly, the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage model of the Nokia 7.2 has received a price cut of Rs. 2,500 and is available at Rs. 17,099.

The revised prices will reflect on Amazon, Flipkart and also on the online Nokia store.
