Redmi 12 smartphone launching in India on August 1st, reveals jade black color variant

Delhi : On August 1st, Redmi will introduce the Redmi 12 smartphone in India. The firm has already hinted at the device's gleaming Moonstone Silver colour choice. The firm has now also unveiled the device's Jade Black colour option.

The Jade black colour variant will probably arrive with a Crystal Glass finish, giving this low-cost smartphone a luxury appearance, just like the Moonstone Silver version did. We already know the device's specs and functionalities because it is already on the market in every country.

Redmi 12 specifications

A big 6.79-inch IPS LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution, a maximum brightness of 550 nits, and a fluid 90Hz refresh rate is included in the Redmi 12. A side-mounted fingerprint scanner is integrated into the power button.

The smartphone has up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, and it is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC. A 5000mAh battery with 33W rapid charging compatibility, an IP53 rating for water and dust resistance, and a 3.5mm headphone socket are all noteworthy features.

With its rear triple camera configuration, which is highlighted by a 50-megapixel lens, the Redmi 12 stands out. Additionally, it has a 2MP macro sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. An 8-megapixel selfie camera is located on the front. The device offers a user-friendly interface and overall experience thanks to MIUI 14, which is based on Android 13.
