Samsung leaks upcoming Galaxy J2 smartphone on official website

New Delhi : Samsung is all set to launch a brand new Android smartphone Galaxy J2 in coming days, but before that they accidently listed it on the official website, mentioning its specifications and features.

The smartphone will be launched in black and gold colors. While, black, white, blue, gold, and pink cases will also come to style up the device.

The successor to last year’s Galaxy J2 (2017) is said to retail at $115 (Rs 7,300 approximately) in Russia.

As per mentioned specifications, the Galaxy J2 (2018) will sport a 5-inch SuperAMOLED screen with display resolution of 540×960 pixels. Under the hood is a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC paired with 1.5GB RAM, and 16GB expandable storage.

In terms of camera, the smartphone will be having a 8-Mega pixel camera at the rear and 5-megapixel selfie shooter in the front. The Samsung will power it with a decent 2,600mAh battery.

On the software front, the Galaxy J2 (2018) will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat, and might later get upgraded to Android Oreo.
