Samsung releases 8GB variant of M31 in India – check specifications

New Delhi : Samsung has announced an upgraded 8GB RAM version of M31 for India. The smartphone which was launched a couple of months back used to come in 6GB RAM version. 

The new variant of the device has been listed with a price tag of Rs.19,999 and is expected to go on sale soon. The listing can be seen on the Samsung official website. The model, like the previous ones, has two color options -Blue and Black. It is listed under Notify Me section indicating the device is not available for sale yet.

It has not been announced that if the mobile will be sold via online stores or people could buy it from the offline stores as well.

The 6GB RAM version with 64GB storage and 128 GB storage costs Rs.16,999 and Rs 17,999 respectively.

The Galaxy M31 has a very good selling point of a 64MP Samsung GW1 sensor equipped quad camera setup on the back. Talking about other specs, it has a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a U-shaped notch. Powering the device is Exynos 9611 SoC.

Talking more about the rear camera setup, the smartphone has been fitted with a 8MP ultra-wide, a 5MP macro lens and a 5MP depth sensor in a rectangular housing along with LED flashlight. It also houses a good 32MP front camera for detailed selfies.

Another USP of the mobile device is its huge 6000 mAH battery. The device runs Samsung’s OneUI 2.0 based on Android 10. Other features include a 4G LTE, WiFi ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS for connectivity.
