Samsung's Tablet new series unveil in India: Galaxy Tab A9 Series launch in India, Price, Specs inside

Delhi : The Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 and Galaxy Tab A9+ have quietly launched in India. The most recent Galaxy A series tablets run Android 13 with OneUI 5.1.1 on top and are available in Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi plus 5G configurations. The Galaxy Tab A9 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, while the Galaxy Tab A9+ is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC. The standard model features an 8.7-inch display, and the Galaxy Tab A9+ has an 11-inch display. Both variants come with a 5,100mAh battery.

Price and availability of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 and Galaxy Tab A9+ in India

The Galaxy Tab A9 series' cost and availability are not mentioned on Samsung's official India website. They are, however, already available on the e-commerce website Amazon. According to the listings, the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage Wi-Fi alone model of the Galaxy Tab A9 costs Rs. 12,999, while the Wi-Fi + 5G variant costs Rs. 15,999.

Additionally, the Wi-Fi-only edition of the Galaxy Tab A9+ with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage costs Rs. 20,999. The pricing of the Wi-Fi + 5G model is currently unavailable. Both styles are available in Dark Blue, Grey, and Silver.

Currently, both Samsung tablets are on sale on Amazon as part of the ongoing Great Indian Festival 2023. Customers who use SBI credit cards to purchase the Galaxy A9 series tablets will receive an immediate discount of up to Rs. 5,000.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ is a dual SIM (eSIM + physical SIM) tablet that runs Android 13 with OneUI 5.1.1 and has an 11-inch (1,200 x 1,920 pixels) WQXGA LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The tablet's internal hardware consists of an octa-core Snapdragon 695 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of extensible onboard storage.

In terms of optics, the Galaxy Tab A9+ has an 8-megapixel single rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. It has a quad-speaker configuration with surround sound capability. 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a USB Type-C connector are among the connectivity choices.
