Delhi : The flagship phones for Vivo's photography division, the X90 series, were introduced in November 2022. The Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro are now anticipated to release shortly as the following model in the X-series. Prior to the official release, a Chinese tipster has leaked information about the Vivo X100 series' camera specifications. The Vivo X100 Pro variant is rumoured to include a 1-inch Sony IMX989 primary camera sensor, while the vanilla model may have a Sony IMX920 primary sensor. MediaTek's forthcoming Dimensity 9300 CPU and the newest LPDDR5T RAM technology are expected to power both versions.

Vivo X100's rear camera configuration will consist of an OmniVision OV64B telephoto camera with a 3x optical zoom, a Samsung JN1 lens for ultra-wide pictures, and a Sony IMX920 main sensor. The X100 Pro's Zeiss APO 100mm equivalent periscope APO Zeiss lens is one of the phones' remarkable cameras, and they are the first phones with MediaTek's new Dimensity 9300 CPU to be introduced.

The telephoto camera and ultra-wide lens of the Vivo X100 Pro may be identical to those of the Vivo X100. Nonetheless, it is rumoured to have a telephoto lens with an optical zoom of 4.3x in addition to a primary 1-inch Sony IMX989 camera sensor.

As the first smartphone in the world to use Low Power Double Data Rate 5 Turbo (LPDDR5T), the Vivo X100 series is said to have made its debut. Compared to LPDDR5X DRAM, which is featured in the majority of modern flagships, the LPDDR5T is said to be 13% quicker. The Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro are expected to include UFS 4.0 storage and MediaTek's forthcoming flagship SoC, the Dimensity 9300. Rumour has it that the Vivo X100 Pro+ will be powered by the freshly released Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

In November of last year, the Vivo X90 series, which includes the Vivo X90, Vivo X90 Pro (Review), and Vivo X90 Pro+, was released in China. The rest made their debut in India in April of this year, while the latter was only available in China. While the Vivo X90 in India starts at Rs. 59,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option, the Vivo X90 Pro debuted with a price tag of Rs. 84,999 for the single 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model. Vivo just reduced the Pro model's pricing by Rs. 10,000.
