Xiaomi Mi A1 in India: Price, specification and all you need to know

New Delhi : For the very first time Xiaomi has launched a mobile phone that does not have MIUI, instead it has been made with a partnership of Android One, which is still trying hard to make a mark in the market.

Studded with dual rear camera setup, Xiaomi launched Mi A1 smartphone in India at an attractive price range of Rs 14,999.

The major attraction of the Xiaomi Mi A1 is its rear dual camera setup with 12MP + 12MP telephoto lens setup added with a wide-angle lens, 1.25 um and 2x digital zoom and 10x optical zoom. This is similar to what people have seen in the latest iPhone 7 Plus.

Xiaomi Mi A1 is powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. To keep the smartphone running for a whole day it comes with a 3080mAh battery with a 380v charger included. 

How to buy Xiaomi Mi A1:

Xiaomi Mi A1 will be sold exclusively via Flipkart and the online Mi Store. The sale will begin from September 12 at 12 noon.

Since Xiaomi Mi A1 runs on pure Android interface, the smart phone comes with pre-loaded benefits. 

"The phone would get the Android 'O' update by the end of 2017 and would be one of the first to get Android P," Jon Gold, Global Director for Android Partner Programs, told reporters.

"Starting from India, all MiA1 devices will come with dual pyrolytic graphite sheets which will help diffuse and radiate heat quickly", the company said.
