Xiaomi Poco F1 buyers will get Rs 5,000 off from Dec 6 to 8

New Delhi : Good news for those planning to buy Xiaomi's Poco F1. Launched this year, the handset is one of the most affordable smartphone in India to be powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. Starting with price tag of Rs 20,999, the device could not meet the buyers' expectations in terms of price. But review confirms that a few buyers are fully satisfied with the performance of the phone.

The official Twitter handle of Poco India has posted that the Xiaomi Poco F1 will see a temporary price drop from December 6 to 8 on Flipkart and Mi.com/in. The tweet confirms that the phone will be sold with up to Rs 5,000 discount, thereby bringing the huge price down further during the three days of the promotion. The Rs 5,000 discount will likely apply only to the top-end 8GB/256GB variant of the phone, but we could see a straight price drop on the popular 6GB/64GB variant as well.

Xiaomi Poco F1: Features and specification

The Xiaomi Poco F1 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB of internal storage. The smartphone has a 6.18-inch FullHD+ notched display with a resolution of 1080×2246 pixels. There is IR-powered face unlock, which works well even in the dark. The smartphone comes with MIUI based on Android Oreo, but an update to MIUI 10 with Android 9 Pie is in the works.

For imaging, Xiaomi Poco F1 has a dual-camera setup at the back, comprised of a 12-megapixel sensor and a 5-megapixel sensor. There’s also a 20-megapixel camera up front. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone is backed by a 4,000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge enabled fast charging.
