AirPods Pro with active noise cancellation goes on sale today: Where to buy?

New Delhi : Apple AirPods Pro, the much-awaited headphones with active noise cancellation are now available for purchase in India. The AirPods Pro, an updated version of AirPods, was launched last month. They have been available in the US market since October 30.

The highlight of AirPods Pro is its new design that comes with active noise-cancellation. The headphones also feature a dedicated Transparency mode and are bundled with a wireless charging case. According to the company, they will last 4 hours of listening on a single charge.

Where to buy and at what price?

Initially, the AirPods Pro will be available through all the Apple Authorised Resellers in India with a price tag of Rs. 24,900. However, they will soon be available on the online plateforms like Amazon and Flipkart.

Alongside the AirPods Pro, Apple has the second-generation AirPods with regular Charging Case at Rs. 14,900 and AirPods with Wireless Charging Case at Rs. 18,900. Customers can also avail standalone Wireless Charging Case at Rs. 7,500.

Design and specification

Apple AirPods Pro comes with an in-the-ear design that supports flexible silicone ear tips to enable active noise cancellation. The company provides three sizes of ear tips to ensure it fits every ear. They are claimed to be sweat and water resistant with a technology to maintain ear pressure.

To enable active noise cancellation, the AirPods Pro uses two microphones in combination with software to remove background noise.

The AirPods Pro come with an Apple H1 chip that is claimed to include 10 audio cores and "powers everything from sound to Siri." You need an Apple device running at least iOS 13.2, iPadOS 13.2, watchOS 6.1, tvOS 13.2, or macOS Catalina 10.15.1 to experience the features of the AirPods Pro.
