Airtel launches international roaming pack starting at Rs 196, learn more

New Delhi : India's leading telecom operator Airtel has come up with an attractive and affordable international voice packs called Foreign Pass for its prepaid customers in India. The new prepaid pack will cover popular destinations at just Rs.196. The tech giant says that the idea behind introducing the pack is to offer convenience to the subscribers when it comes to being connected to their family and friends.

It is likely that customers of Airtel will now have varieties of affordable voice calling packs starting at Rs 196 for 20 mins, followed by Rs 296 for 40 minutes and Rs 446 for 75 mins.

The Rs 196 plan offer 20 minutes valid for 7 days, while the subscribers will get 30 days and 90 days of validity respectively under the plans of Rs 296 and Rs 446.

Airtel's new recharge packs are available for customers for countries like UAE, Nepal, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, USA, Qatar, Kuwait, Malaysia, Singapore, United Kingdom, Srilanka, Bahrain, China, Canada, Germany, Australia, Hong Kong, France, Netherlands and Thailand. In order to activate the lastest plan, customers will have to visit 'My Airtel app' in the Airtel website or to the nearest Airtel store. 

During the launch, Vani Venkatesh, CMO, Bharti Airtel said, “We are delighted to announce the launch of Airtel Foreign Pass - convenient prepaid International Roaming Recharges to keep our customers connected and tension free, even when traveling abroad. Happy to share that Airtel is the first telco in the country to have designed these value offers for prepaid customers. We will continue to focus on innovations to add to customer convenience and delight”.
