Delhi : Android 14 Beta is now available for smartphones other than the Pixel line, including phones from Nothing, Lenovo, OnePlus, Oppo, and other manufacturers.

We wouldn't expect anything less from Google, and Android 14 adds a tonne of awesome new features to the OS. Although the update doesn't deliver a completely new design like Android 12 did, it still defines that appearance into something that has a little more cohesion. For example, the At a Glance widget has undergone small adjustment, and we now have a new floating clipboard utility.

Now, those modifications are accessible on devices other than Google's own Pixel smartphones. The site for Android 14 Beta devices now features user manuals for a number of different phone manufacturers, all of which were created by the OEMs themselves. The instructions in every manual written by the gadget's maker are tailored specifically to what that device needs.

Google has so far included instructions from 10 OEMs to this page:

  • Google
  • iQOO
  • Lenovo
  • Nothing
  • OnePlus
  • Oppo
  • realme
  • TECNO
  • vivo
  • Xiaomi

How to set up Android 14 Beta on your phone or tablet

You should be able to install Android 14 Beta if your device is eligible and comes from one of the manufacturers mentioned above. Each OEM decides the most recent version of the Beta will be permitted, hence there is no standard version that is available to everybody. OS upgrade timeframes vary significantly because each manufacturer has such a wide range of Android implementations.

  • Visit developer.android.com/about/versions/14/devices to locate your Android 14 Beta manual.
  • Click Get the Beta after locating the manufacturer of your device.
  • Follow the directions in the OEM's installation manual after reading it carefully.

As a general guideline, don't install the Android 14 Beta on your device if you're not at ease doing so. The risk of bricking your smartphone when performing this type of update is constant, which will cause you a lot of frustration. If you're at ease, carefully read the directions and adhere to them because every gadget differs.
