Delhi : A totally redesigned version of the well-known smartwatch from the firm, the Apple Watch X, is reportedly in development. The Cupertino corporation previously unveiled an updated model of its smartphone, the iPhone X, in time for its tenth anniversary, and the Apple Watch may undergo a similar makeover as early as next year. The rumored Apple Watch X is said to redefine how people wear smartwatches by doing away with the current locking mechanism and replacing it with bands that attach using magnets.

In the most recent issue of his Power On newsletter, upcoming smartwatch as the Apple Watch X.  Apple is currently investigating a magnetic system to hold the bands in place and that the company's upcoming wristwatch would have a thinner chassis. According to a rumour from earlier this year, Apple would release watchOS 10 and an upgraded wristwatch with the same name in 2023.

Up until this point, Apple Watch bands had a press-to-release locking system that allowed for cross-generational compatibility. Existing bands may no longer function with new models if the current band locking mechanism is replaced, but the extra room created by the redesign may allow for more internals or a bigger battery for longer battery life.

Apple has been preparing to introduce a smartwatch that supports MicroLED technology for some months, but the company has yet to do so. Gurman speculates that the Apple Watch X may be the company's first wearable to include these cutting-edge panels. Blood pressure monitoring, another function that has been said to be under development for some time, might appear on Apple's upcoming wristwatch. The business is likely to introduce the Apple Watch range 9 simultaneously with the iPhone 15 range of smartphones, so customers shouldn't anticipate the rumoured Apple Watch X to be released anytime soon.

The smartwatches are anticipated to offer new chips and color possibilities, while the handsets are anticipated to feature a few noteworthy hardware updates. Apple Watch X might be made available in 2024 or 2025. This is due to the fact that the Apple Watch was introduced in 2014 and went on sale in 2015. As a result, the smartwatch's debut may coincide with whatever day the company declares to be the Apple Watch's 10th anniversary. The Apple Watch X won't be unveiled to the public until at least next year because the business only discloses information about upcoming products at the official launch event.
