ASUS ROG Ally: Upcoming Windows 11-powered handheld
Delhi : In order to compete with the likes of Steam Valve, ASUS, which has a variety of gaming devices under its ROG brand, is getting ready to release the ASUS ROG Ally mobile gaming console.
Several people thought it was an April Fools' joke when the business teased this new item on April 1. However, the company has recently made it clear that it is indeed creating this new item.
According to the company's information, the ROG Ally will use an exclusive AMD Ryzen processor and run Windows 11 as its operating system. Also, users have the option of connecting an external GPU for playing resource-demanding games.
According to YouTube Dave 2D, the phone will include a 7-inch touchscreen with a Full HD 1080p screen resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate. Also, it is asserted that the ROG Ally, which weighs 608 grammes and has dimensions of 280 mm x 113 mm x 39 mm, is narrower, thinner, and slightly lighter than the Steam Valve.
A different hands-on video from Linus Tech Tips demonstrates some software adjustments the business has made for the prototype device. For instance, the gadget has a fingerprint reader that may be used to switch between various accounts.
The ASUS ROG Ally handheld gaming console's launch date and price have not yet been disclosed by ASUS. But, interested consumers can sign up on the device's micro-landing page on Best Buy to be notified when it becomes available for pre-order. Although we must wait for official confirmation, we anticipate that the device will be released in the upcoming months.
