New Delhi : India’s state owned BSNL telecommunications  has launched new prepaid packs to counter-attack Reliance Jio’s plan which is offering high-speed Internet data at low cost.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has announced the new prepaid plan of just Rs 118 which offers 1GB of 3G data per day with a validity of 28 days. The users will also get free access to Personalised Ring Back Tone feature. However, this BSNL plan is available only for customers in Tamil Nadu circle.

Sources believe that the recently launched plan is an idea to respond to Jio’s Rs 98 plan which offers only 2GB data in total for 28 days along with access to Jio suite of Apps and 300 free messages.

There is another BSNL plan to compete with Reliance Jio’s Rs 349 and Rs 399 prepaid plans. BSNL has Rs 379 plan which offers 4G data and 30 minutes BSNL-to-BSNL calling every day with a validity of 30 days.

On the other hand, Jio offers 1.5GB of high-speed data with a validity of 70 days and 84 days respectively. Another BSNL plan is a direct attack to Reliance Jio’s Rs 551 plan which offers 1.5GB per day. The plan will only be valid for Kerala state only.

Most recently, BSNL has also launched Rs 666 plan for the Kerala circle which is offering 1GB of high speed data, unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day for 129 days.

While the war between these two telecommunication service providers continues to exist, customers of both the networks will enjoy digital experience at their best.
