Exciting news: Google photos set to introduce photo stack feature - Leak confirms
Delhi : Google Photos is a storing and sharing service for photos and videos created by Google. It enables users to save and exchange images and videos between iOS and Android smartphones. According to the most recent data, Google Photos is used by over 1 billion people worldwide. "Photo Stack," a new feature coming soon to Google Photos, promises to make organising photos lot simpler than it was previously. On their Pixel 8 series phone, Reddit user alexandriaofwar revealed that they had been able to enable the new Google Photos function. It appears to have exited beta testing and is in the process of being released.
Photo Stack bundles together related photos that were captured at the same time. This is useful if you frequently take several pictures at once, such as group or selfie shots. It keeps a tonne of identical photos from flooding your main photo stream.
Check to see whether the update has been applied to your device if you're excited to try out this new feature. If not, it should show up in the upcoming weeks.
You might be reminded of Apple Photos Moments or Amazon's Photos Memories by this new Photo Stack feature. Moments on Apple automatically organises images and videos that were shot on the same day or at the same event. Moments and Memories form their groupings based on a variety of elements, including time, place, people, and content. Google Photos uses a similar method to categorise and arrange images.
How do I activate Photo Stack?
Photo Stack won't turn on by itself when the functionality launches. It must be enabled via the Settings > Preferences > Stack Similar Photos checkbox in Google Photos. After you activate it, Google photographs will organise your comparable photographs for you.
