Facebook, Instagram down for several users across the globe

New Delhi : Several Facebook and Instagram users reported that they are facing issues in accessing social media applications. They shared their frustration on Twitter; Facebook acknowledged the problem with a tweet and said they are working on it to resolve it at the earliest.

According to downdetector.com, Facebook is said to be down from around 9.30 pm in India. Minutes after Instagram also went down, the website reported. Facebook Messenger has also been affected and has also been having issues at the same time around Instagram.

According to complaints posted by several users in the social media, many claimed that they were unable to send messages and when they tried reinstalling the application they were unable to log in too. Check out the tweets from people below:
