Delhi : On July 26 (Wednesday), the South Korean technology giant Samsung will host its Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event. In addition to the newly released Galaxy Tab S9 and the Galaxy Watch 6 series, the firm is predicted to release the two most anticipated foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5.

Starting at 4:30 p.m. IST in India, the Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event will be aired live on the Samsung website, Samsung Newsroom, and Samsung's YouTube page. The business has not released information about the cost or the features of the new foldables, but rumours have already started to surface.

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 will reportedly go on sale in India starting on August 14. Pre-reservations are possible on the Samsung website, Amazon, Flipkart, and in Samsung-only retail locations. Customers who pre-reserve will receive rewards worth Rs. 5,000. Pre-orders for the devices will begin on July 26, immediately following their release.



The Galaxy Z Fold 5 is rumoured to have three storage options, with prices ranging from EUR 1,899 for the 256GB model to EUR 2,039 for the 512GB model to EUR 2,279 for the 1TB model. It will be available in Black, Blue, and Cream hues.

The Galaxy Z Flip 5 is anticipated to have two storage options, with 256GB costing EUR 1,199 and 512GB costing EUR 1,339. It will be offered in the colour options Cream, Graphite, Lavender, and Water Green.

Regarding specifications, it is anticipated that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC would power both the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. According to rumours, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will include a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED cover screen in addition to a 7.6-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED main display (1,812 x 2,176 pixels). The Galaxy Z Flip 5, on the other hand, is rumoured to have a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,640 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED primary panel and a 3.4-inch external display.
