Delhi : In Meet chat, Google has added the option to share content, which will show up in the presentation controller in the bottom-right corner. It will also show up as a suggestion in the Meet Chat.

A file access dialogue box will also show up when users paste a Drive link into Meet to make sure all visitors can view it. Users can decide whether to add the file to the calendar event.

In order to access shared content during a Google Meet call, the tech giant wants to reduce the need to switch browsers. Over the next weeks, the features will be made available to all Google Workspace users and Google users with personal accounts.

This comes after the internet giant launched emoji reactions for Meet, allowing users to respond to colleagues during calls, as well as a 360-degree background on the Meet smartphone app that rotates as users rotate the camera.
