Delhi : New generative AI tools have been released by Google for its Workspace apps, which include Google Docs, Gmail, Sheets, Slides, Meet, and Chat.

Users will be able to draught, reply, summarize, and priorities their Gmail messages using the new AI functionality.

They will be able to write, edit, and rewrite in Docs, while in Slides they will be able to use auto-generated graphics, audio, and video to bring their creative ideas to life.

Also, with auto-completion, formula creation, and contextual categorization in Sheets, users will be able to move from raw data to insights and analysis, while in Meet, they will be able to create new backgrounds and record notes. The new AI features in Chat will make it possible for users to employ workflows to complete tasks.

"This month, we'll introduce these new experiences through our reliable testing programme, beginning with English in the US. The experiences will then be improved and iterated before being made widely available to consumers, small businesses, organisations, and educational institutions in new nations and languages "Posted on a blog, Google added.

Google is apparently developing a new "Search Companion" function for its Chrome web browser in the meanwhile. The Search Companion will be a useful new Lens-based web search tool. The internet giant hopes to strengthen the relationship between Lens and Chrome with the new functionality.
