HP India launches 4 new laptops, ready for hybrid work
Delhi : After introducing inexpensive Chromebooks and high-end Omen gaming devices earlier this year, HP India has now introduced four new productivity-focused laptops in India. All new HP laptops come equipped with 13th-Gen Intel CPUs, which could provide the company an advantage over rivals who continue to sell notebooks with 11th- or 12th-gen Intel CPUs. According to HP, the new laptops are meant for youthful customers who want a high-end laptop with a sizable screen at a reasonable price. The updated laptops also feature an upgraded webcam, which is still not very impressive in many modern notebooks (including some HP notebooks). The webcam's main purpose is to support users who operate remotely or in hybrid environments.
The HP 14, HP 15, HP Pavilion Plus 14, and HP Pavilion X360 are the four new laptops that HP has released.
HP 14 and 15
The only visual variation between the two computers is the size of the displays. The 15.6-inch model weights 1.6 kg and has a 13th-generation Intel Core i5 CPU. The 14-inch model weighs 1.4kg and has a 13th-Gen Core i3 CPU. Both LCD screens include an anti-glare coating and Full-HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels).
Both devices support Wi-Fi 6 and offer a manual webcam shutter for added privacy. The performance of the Full-HD webcam is fueled by "temporal noise reduction and AI noise removal for better video and sound quality." There is also a fingerprint reader that is optional.

HP Pavilion Plus 14
The Plus 14 model comes with a 512GB SSD and up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM. A 51Wh battery is also available, and it enables PD charging. The highest model features a 14-inch OLED screen with a 2.8K (2880x1880 pixels) resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. For hands-free control, Amazon Alexa is already supported.
The Pavilion Plus 14 comes with a 5-megapixel webcam with temporal noise reduction and built-in dual-array digital microphones to assist customers with hybrid work.
Its starting price in India is Rs 81,999.
HP Pavilion X360
The Pavilion X360 display, as the name suggests, can rotate 180 degrees, allowing users to utilise the laptop similarly to a tablet. A stylus is also included in the package.
It has an Intel Core i5-1335U CPU, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 1TB SSD as its power sources. There is no OLED display, in contrast to the Plus 14 model. Instead, it has a Full-HD 14-inch IPS screen with a brightness of 250 nits.
The Pavilion X360 begins at Rs 57,999 in India.
