Instagram experiences temporary outage for certain users, technical issues with Stories feature
Delhi : Instagram, a photo-sharing programme owned by Meta, is currently unavailable for certain users. Downdetector reports that the outage started this morning at an early hour. Reels on the platform has received reports of bugs from up to 780 users.
"According to user complaints, Instagram has been experiencing issues since 10:04 PM EDT. RT if you're also having issues: https://downdetector.com/status/instagram," said Downdetector on Twitter. The cause of the outage is yet unknown. Users in the USA and adjacent regions appear to be affected by the problem right now.
Users reportedly have trouble seeing, publishing, and accessing the feed. Some users are unable to access their accounts, while others receive no views on their most recent Reels.
Many Instagram users complained about the situation on the microblogging site Twitter. Those who responded as follows:
In a tweet, a user posed the question, "instagram down for anybody else? I am unable to view anyone's or my own story views.
Another person said, "Thinking my Instagram down this whole time, I'm annoyed because I don't even know who could've reactivated my shit."
"#instagramdown why can't I post on my story or see my story views," a another Twitter user wrote.
