Delhi : T7 Shield, a new external SSD from Samsung, was just released. The new SSD has an aluminium shell and is nearly the size of an ATM card. It has 4TB of storage and is made for creative professionals and people on the run.

The USB 3.2 Gen2 connector on the T7 Shield SSD can read and write data at rates of up to 1,050 MB/s and 1,000 MB/s, respectively. The new SSD, according to Samsung, is "9.5 times faster than external hard disc drives," making it perfect for anyone who frequently transmit huge data.

The transportable SSD is ATM-sized and has IP 65 water and dust resistance as well as shock resistance from fall of up to 3 metres. The 4TB T7 Shield portable solid state drive, which weighs only 98 grammes, has Samsung Magician Software and AES 256-bit hardware encryption. It has a three year warranty and can function in temperatures between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius.

The T7 Shield portable SSD, which comes in three colors—blue, red, and gray—starts at Rs 30,000 and is available via well-known online marketplaces, Samsung retail locations, top consumer electronics retailers, and the official Samsung online store.
