Delhi : The excitement is growing as the iPhone 15 series launches in three weeks. A USB Type-C port, action button, Dynamic Island, and other new features will reportedly be included in the iPhone 15, which will represent one of the largest advancements in recent years. A brand-new periscope telephoto camera is anticipated for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which would significantly improve its zooming skills and bring it on level with rival smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, if not much ahead of them.

However, if sources are to be believed, this innovative feature might potentially significantly slow down the release of the iPhone 15 Pro Max for a period of 3 to 4 weeks.

Expected delays with the iPhone 15 Pro Max

At the Apple event, which is scheduled for September 12, the iPhone 15 announcement is anticipated. According to historical patterns, Apple typically begins shipping its new iPhones approximately a week following the launch event. This may not be the case this time, though, since sources have suggested that there may be delays.

Since Sony is having trouble supplying the new periscope camera sensor in time for the launch, the iPhone 15 Pro Max may have a protracted delay of up to 3–4 weeks. The premium iPhone 15 model might therefore be postponed until October. After seeing a significant equity analyst note, this was disclosed. It wouldn't be the first time Apple issued an iPhone model later than others, even if the iPhone 15 Pro Max is delayed. The shipments of the iPhone 14 Plus started last year some weeks after the other iPhone 14 models went on sale.

Additionally, a Bank of America analyst earlier forecasted "a few weeks" of delays for the iPhone 15 series. Additionally, it was claimed that Apple's display production was experiencing delays, although these rumors were quickly refuted.

Only the iPhone 15 Pro Max, the only model in the forthcoming iPhone lineup to include the periscope camera, is currently anticipated to experience delays. This new camera, which would be integrated into the telephoto lens, was said to have a 5–6X optical zoom range in earlier reports. However, we earlier heard that it would have 10X magnification capabilities, putting it on line with the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, citing Apple Insider's Andrew O'Hara.
