Jio AirFiber big move: High-speed internet reaches 8 cities with Free Disney Plus Hotstar and 1Gbps Speed
Delhi : People can no longer function without fast-speed internet thanks to UPI and the digitalization of government buildings. However, cable fiber networks are not always accessible, and mobile networks are frequently unstable. Therefore, in September 2023, Jio finally launched Jio AirFiber to assist customers in getting faster wireless connections.
Jio AirFiber is a wireless internet service provider that offers 5G internet access at fast speeds. It is made to satisfy the demands of high-speed broadband, smart home services, and home entertainment. In addition to providing rates up to 1 Gbps, it delivers speeds similar to those of conventional fiber-optic connections.
Jio claims that Jio AirFiber is comparable to wireless 4G dongles but offers further advantages including 5G speeds that are comparable to broadband. Plans with speeds of 30Mbps, 100Mbps, 150Mbps, 300Mbps, 500Mbps, and 1Gbps are available to users.

Jio is expanding the AirFiber service across the country. However, only eight cities—Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune—were able to use the service at the time of its original introduction.
How to reserve a connection with Jio Airfiber ?
Here's how to reserve a JioAirfiber connection, step-by-step:
Verify the availability. To find out if Jio AirFiber is available in your location, visit the Jio website, use the My Jio app, or get in touch with Jio customer care.
Put in a booking. By placing a missed call to 60008-60008, using the Jio website or My Jio app, or going to the Jio store that is closest to you, you may schedule a fresh connection.
Sign up for Jio Fiber Internet. To finish the registration procedure, provide the necessary information.
Wait for verification. When services in your building or area become available, Jio will get in touch with you.
You will receive your Jio AirFiber connection, complete with WiFi router, 4K Smart Set-Top Box, and voice-activated remote, after your booking is verified. Additionally, an outdoor unit will be put outside your house or on your rooftop or the outdoor space.
It should be noted that Jio is providing the new connection at no additional expense. However, if you choose an annual subscription, the firm will waive the Rs 1,000 installation service price. In order to retain the advantages of an annual plan, users can also choose to make monthly payments using credit/debit card-based EMI.
Plans for JioAirfiber
Since Jio AirFiber launched, the official has released six AirFiber plans, all of which include high-speed internet and other services. There are two different types of Jio AirFiber plans: AirFiber and AirFiber Max plans.
Plans for Jio AirFiber: Jio offers three plans in this category, with prices ranging from Rs 599 to Rs 1199. Together with additional benefits like access to over 550 digital channels and 14 over-the-top (OTT) applications, these plans provide internet speeds of up to 100 Mbps. Netflix, Amazon Prime, and JioCinema Premium memberships are all included for free with the Rs 1199 package.
Plans for Jio AirFiber Max: Jio has three plans in this category, with prices of Rs 1499, Rs 2499, and Rs 3999, in that order. In addition to a host of other features including access to over 550 digital channels and 14 over-the-top (OTT) applications like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and JioCinema Premium, these plans provide fast internet rates of up to 1Gbps. Interestingly, Jio AirFiber Max will be offered.
Jio AirFiber includes features like parental controls, compatibility for Wi-Fi 6, and an integrated security firewall in addition to high speed and internet access.
