MIUI 14 Officially announced: Eligible Phones and Features, Everything You Need to Know
Delhi : The MIUI 14 is Xiaomi's newest skin, which was debuted alongside the company's flagship Xiaomi 13 series. The MIUI 14 operating system, which is based on Android 13, is designed to simplify your smartphone experience without taking up too much space. Compared to MIUI 13, MIUI 14 consumes less system resources and up to 1.5GB less space on smartphones. Xiaomi hopes to improve third-party app optimizations with MIUI 14 so they function more smoothly and use less power. Users will now only encounter 8 uninstallable pre-installed programmes instead of the previous 16 pre-installed apps.
There are functions like duplicate file merging, low-frequency app automatic compression, and simple permanent notification deactivation. According to reports, the system fluency has increased by 60% compared to MIUI 13. New widgets, four distinct app icon sizes, resizable folders, and animated cat/dog avatars on the home screen are just a few of the cosmetic enhancements.
New security and privacy features are also included in MIUI 14. This incorporates end-to-side text recognition enabling quicker and safer text recognition in images as well as local computation of sensitive data. During video calls, users will also receive real-time subtitles.
The new XiaoAi AI Assistant 6.0 for multipurpose reminders, shortcuts to payment and transit codes, and more is also included in the updated Xiaomi skin. Other features of MIUI 14 include family cloud service, health sharing, and quicker and better Wi-Fi connectivity.
Release Date for MIUI 14 and Supported Devices
