Delhi : In June of this year, Apple unveiled the Vision Pro, the company's first virtual reality headset, to a world fascinated by it. At WWDC, CEO Tim Cook debuted the headgear and referred to it as a "new type of computer." Since then, there have been a lot of high expectations for the Vision Pro, and the tech giant even gave certain tech journalists early access to it. People are now curious to find out when they may give it a try.

For those eager to get the Vision Pro, there's good news: mass production of the virtual reality headset is expected to start in January 2024. Furthermore, the Vision Pro may prove to be the company's most significant offering in the upcoming year.

Prior to the debut of Vision Pro, Apple trained staff members

Ahead of its introduction, Apple is reportedly teaching its retail shop staff how to use and sell the Vision Pro, according to earlier reports. Employees in a number of US retail outlets will apparently receive specific training. The AR/VR headset's complicated and specialised nature need user-specific setup and modifications.

Apple Store employees are receiving substantial training as part of a complete strategy, according to Mark Gurman's Power On weekly on Bloomberg. Vision Pro's training sessions are set to begin in January, and each store staff will attend a two-day course. These courses will centre not only on configuring and using the cutting-edge headgear, but also on persuasive approaches to prospective buyers.

The source also stated that specialist equipment needed for packing and assembling the Vision Pro will soon be available at US Apple shops. Although customers may order the gadget online, Apple is anticipated to promote in-store purchases, where customers can take advantage of the skilled staff members' comprehensive setup and operating assistance.

Mass manufacture of the Apple Vision Pro has begun

Mass shipments of the Apple Vision Pro are expected to begin in the first week of January 2024, according to a Wccftech article citing Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst of TF International Securities. According to projections provided by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the first batch is expected to reach customers by late January or early February. Kuo stated that the Apple Vision Pro is the company's key product for 2024, despite a projected 500,000 shipments, believing that a favourable user experience will open the door for a thriving mixed-reality future.

But according to Jiemian's study, Kuo's shipment predictions are different from earlier reports; at launch, there might be 400,000 units, and by the end of 2024, there could be one million. Even with the disparate numbers, the headset's positive reviews and high $3,499 price tag suggest that some figures may be inflated. Although it's accepted that the analyst was mistaken previously, Kuo's estimate seems more likely.
