Delhi : A new 5G smartphone aimed at the general public has been introduced by HMD Global in India. The Nokia G42 is the product that was just released. It is equipped with an outstanding set of features and runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ SoC. Although the smartphone won't provide the most powerful experience, if you're looking for a 5G phone at a reasonable price, this new release from Nokia may be a suitable choice. It will come pre-installed with Android 13 and will receive two significant OS updates. As a result, Android 15 will be the final Android OS update for this smartphone. India's Nokia G42 specifications

The 6.56-inch HD+ display on the Nokia G42 also supports a 90Hz refresh rate. A protective layer of Corning Glass 3 with a brightness of 450 nits is also present on top of the display. It uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC, as previously indicated, and can theoretically support an additional 5GB of RAM on top of its maximum 6GB of RAM. The gadget can store data internally for up to 128GB.

A 50MP primary camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera make up the triple camera arrangement at the back. An 8MP sensor is located at the front for taking selfies. The smartphone includes a 20W rapid charging capability and a 5000mAh battery.

In India, the Nokia G42 costs Rs 12,599. The smartphone is available in the colors Purple and Grey. The first sale will start on September 15, 2023, at 12 PM. The smartphone is available via the official Amazon India website.
